1. Controller

No data protection officer has been appointed, as the conditions of Art. 37 GDPR are not met.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the site, Netlify processes technically necessary data in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred, status message, referrer URL, browser type and operating system.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Netlify. Transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.

3. Contact form

If you contact us via the form on this website, we process the data you enter: name, email address, optionally your telephone number, the nature of your enquiry and your message. Transmission and storage take place via Netlify Forms.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry serves the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required, at the latest upon expiry of statutory retention periods.

4. Fonts

This website loads the typefaces Archivo and Newsreader via Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Loading the page establishes a connection to Google servers, in the course of which your IP address is transmitted. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the consistent presentation of the site. See policies.google.com/privacy.

5. No analytics or tracking

This website uses no analytics tools, no advertising networks, no social media plugins and sets no tracking cookies. No profiling or automated decision-making takes place.
